“Flying Kites” Soaring Over East Lansing, MI

Here we have an inside look at the process of installing a large commissioned sculpture. It all starts with the design. Kevin then cuts out individual pieces and welds them into the different shapes that will make up the sculpture. The pieces are then taken to the site and cranes lift the pieces into place, which are then welded together. It is a long and grueling process, but the outcome is stunning!
