Steve Alpert

Veteran, Artist Join Forces To Honor Those Who Perished In Vietnam July 1, 2014 The Southampton Press Vietnam veteran Paul Dargan and artist Steve Alpert worked together to create a painting to honor the lives lost in the war. "Mr. Dargan explained that it was during a Veterans Day ceremony in Bridgehampton in 2011 when he first saw Mr. Alpert’s work and decided to approach the artist with the idea of making a painting from his old photograph. Mr. Alpert accepted the challenge." The painting can now be seen at the National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico. see more here
