Feeling inspired at our July 11 opening, author Rosanne Friedman highlighted Steve Perrault's paintings in this month's publication of Public News Online. In her Art Talk article she states that, "Steve Perrault's paintings at the Dean Day Gallery have a 'I can't take my eyes off of you sort of feeling. A hard edge, soft color-abstract realism with nice moments of fresh paint, gradient paint, and mysterious spaces. The artist's background is theology and philosphy and it would be easy to see these as meditations and a very cool place to relax this summer for both mind and eye and to say Ahhh".
